Harry's News

In Harry's news this week, in China they have released the artist Ai Wei Wei on bail after he was arrested and put in jail on charges against the Chinese government. The terms of his release are that he is not allowed to leave the country. Some people believe that it was a Chinese goverment decsion after some people and some countries protested for his release from jail. No word is coming out of the Chinese goverment that he is going to go on trial or not.

In other news, in America the F.B.I. have arrested one of the top ten most wanted crimals in California after 16 years on run from the F.B.I. His name is James Whitney Bulger who is crime boss in Boston. He was arrested with his girlfriend without an inident. He is wanted on 19 counts of murder and he is going to go on trial in Boston.

Harry's News

In Harry's news this week, their are protests in England and Wales about teachers getting their pension cut by the government. The teachers are going on strike due to the pension cut by the goverment and are striking on 30th June, but the goverment is in talks with the teachers group not to have the strike. It has also been announced by the government that the retirement age will rise to 65 to 66 next year, so this will cause more strikes from the public sector because of this announced by the government.

In other news, their are talks in the U.N. that they are going to put U.N. santions on Syria to stop the Syrian army from killing anti-government protesters who have been protesting in Syria for months now to get their leader out of power as ruler of the country. Lots of Syrian citizens have fled to Turkey to avoid the violence in their country. The U.N. is planning to put a no-fly zone in Syria.
