Harry's News

In Harry's news today, there has been massive floods in Australia, that have killed 15 people and has left 70 people missing . They occured when heavy rain caused rivers to burst their banks and made up to 60 feet floods that went through Australian villages, towns; they also hit parts of Brisbane that has caused damage to up to 20,000 houses. The goverment has sented rescuers to help rescue the people who have been affected by the floods.

Also in the news, there has being terrible landslides in Brazil, that have killed 500 people when landsides went through towns and villages caused by rain and mud. Rescuers are trying to save people from the landslides.

Also in the news, in America a shooting took place when an man try to assassinate a congresswomen called Gabrielle Griffreds at a confence in Arizona. Mrs Griffreds was shot in the head, but survived; the gunman killed six people including a judge and an 9 year old girl were also killed. The President Barrack Obama called for an minute silence across America to honour the dead. The gunman was caught by passersby stopping him from killing anyone else.
